Dianne E. Miller is a mixed media artist living in Lincoln, RI.  She holds a BA from the University of MA and a certificate in Drawing & Painting from RISD.  She is a gallery artist at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA.  She is also a member of the Art League of RI, the Wickford Art Association, South County Art Association, and the AAM.  Her art has won numerous awards in a variety of media including photography, mixed media and assemblage.  She maintains a studio at Mad Dog Artists Studios in Pawtucket, RI.

“Circular Motion” is an intuitive mixed-media painting on canvas.  Starting out with several layers of paint and finished with a top layer of acrylic, the painting features tones achieved by layering and wiping.  The red circles are oil pastels and acrylic paint.
