Karole Nicholson has focused on soft pastels as her medium for the past 12 years. Studying with pastel masters, participation in national juried exhibitions, gallery representation and regular studio time keep her focused on her development as an artist. Karole’s art travels have brought her to Peru, Italy and New Mexico. She is a member of the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Painters of Cape Cod and the CT Pastel Society.
“Finding Love” was more designed than inspired. I enjoyed limiting the palette with complimentary colors, working from my memory of poppies growing wild. The vibration of red against the coolness of the tamed field feels right in this relationship.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 10-14, 2015. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
