“Who Needs Glass?” is an example of the artist’s attraction to places and things that have been used and abandoned. He photographs signs of wear and tear, fatigue and neglect that are symbols of passing time, lives lived and stories untold. Abandoned architecture, often a rich complex of line, form, texture and color that attracts the viewer’s eye can also evoke a complex emotional response.
