One of the most popular ballets of all time! Gen Horiuchi revives Swan Lake, a Saint Louis Ballet favorite, April 1-3.  Last performed by the company in 2010, the ballet features traditional elements along with Horiuchi’s choreography. Composed by Tchaikovsky in 1875-76, the ballet tells the story of the princess Odette who was turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. Premiered by the Bolshoi in Moscow, it has been presented in many versions and beloved by audiences around the globe.
