July 2, 2013, against the San Francisco Giants, Homer Bailey and the Reds stole the spotlight of the sports world when the 27-year-old pitcher threw his second career no-hitter in a 3-0 victory.  It was baseball's first no-hitter of the 2013 season and the first no-hitter in the Majors since September 28, 2012 when the Pirates were no-hit by none other than Homer Bailey.
