Carousel is a testimony to the power of young love, desperation, and one man's redemption.  Shortly after a young carnival worker, Billy Bigelow, and local mill girl, Julie Jordan, fall in love and marry, they're faced with hardship that leads to a devastating loss. But Billy receives one last chance from beyond the grave to save his family's future.  Featurng the songs “If I Loved You,” “June is Bustin' Out All Over,” and “You'll Never Walk Alone” in Richard Rodgers's favorite of all his musicals.  This is a co-production of Houston Grand Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago.
