Miranda Lambert is a Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter who started by performing at talent shows and fairs in Texas at the age of 16.  She got her break through the reality TV series "Nashville Star" which led to a recording contract.  Lambert's first album, "Kerosene", showcased her songwriting ability, with her writing or co-writing 10 of the 11 songs.

Miranda's successful second album, "Ex-Girlfriend", was followed by "Revolution" in 2009 which reached No. 8 in the t op 40s.  Lambert received her first Grammy award  for "The House That Built Me" which was featured on her "Revolution" album.  Her fourth album, "Four the Record", was released in 2011 and is her highest charting album reaching #3 on the Billboard 200.  Lambert has received a Grammy for Best Country Album, and she has won the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award six consecutive times. 

This is Miranda Lambert's fifth appearance at RodeoHouston with her previous appearances in 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2015.
