The University of Oregon Ducks basketball team has one of the most die-hard followings in the Pacific Northwest. The Ducks have been playing basketball for over a century, with the program’s first season coming in 1902. In recent years Oregon basketball has seen a resurgence in success and has appeared in the NCAA Tournament more times since 2000 then in the previous 90 years of the program combined. This success led the Ducks to build Matthew Knight Arena, which is one of the top college basketball arenas in the country. Ducks fans are known for being passionate and unbelievably loud and they have made the basketball game day experience in Eugene one of the best in the PAC-12.
