Beautiful hand-dyed and hand-spun yarn by artisan Barbara Keller. This skein is made of soft merino wool, bamboo, glitz, and is spiral plied with rayon/cotton thread. The materials were carded together and then spun. It is super bulky--4.75 oz., 96 yd. The predominant colors are purple, white, and black, with sparkles of red glitz and occasional turquoise bamboo. This yarn makes a great gift for a knitter and has a very special one-of-a-kind look and feel.
