Description

Be a part of our research team! This species is a new one for us in cultivation and we are trying to get a better sense of what it needs and what it can offer horticulturally. Our stock bed propagator, Dan Jaffe, is interested to know how the plant fares in your garden. It is not yet for sale in our retail division, so this item is truly "priceless" and available ONLY in this auction.

Monarda punctata is a short lived perennial that can produce long-lasting populations when allowed to drop its seed. Place these beauties in a full sun area with bare soil underneath so that the seed can drop and grow in place.

Do not deadhead. A pollinators favorite!
