Description
Help St. Elizabeth School Implement its SOCIAL THINKING Program with these WISH LIST REGISTRY Items!
Through the SES Golf Tournament's online auction, SES donors can “buy” items for the school, just like you might for a wedding or baby registry! Items, such as the one described below, help students during therapy sessions, in the classroom, and beyond. This year, our Wish List Registry is filled with curriculum notebooks, books, posters, and other items needed to help SES adopt a SOCIAL THINKING program school-wide. Social Thinking is an expansion of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) and teaches students how their behavior directly impacts those around them. In other words, it teaches them to think beyond themselves and gives them a deeper understanding of those around them.
Kimochis® "Cloud" Package
Includes cloud character set and two addtional feelings packs!
“More than an adorable stuffed animal, Kimochis® help to teach children about their feelings and how to manage them.”
—Mothering Magazine
Express yourself with Kimochis and boost a child's emotional intelligence! Kimochi (pronounced KEY-MO-CHEE) means "feeling" in Japanese. Each Kimochi character comes with a How-To Kimochis Feel Guide and a set of three small feelings pillows (called “Kimochis,” each with a feeling-word printed on one side and a corresponding facial expression on the other). Each plush character (this one is named “Cloud”) has a special pouch on his belly where kids can store their little "Kimochis." Using the characters and their Kimochis, kids can get in touch with their emotions through puppetry and play. The Feel Guide introduces the fun and quirky personalities of each character and offers adults fun tips and engaging activities to help strengthen social connections and teach children to identify and express feelings in positive ways.
Like the weather, “Cloud” can be a bit unpredictable. One day he is happy, the next he is mad, and the next day, who knows! Cloud can show his mood with a simple turn of his head—he has a happy face on one side and a sad face on the other. Whatever his mood, his soft-fleece body makes him huggable every day!
