Deborah Julian specializes in cat art. Art history is a major influence in her work.

Deborah's work has been influenced by her interest in cats, especially her own companions, George, Billy and Sam, each of whom has inspired specific works of art.

As she built her colorful collection of photographs for sale, her cats insisted on being involved in most phases of her work, performing such important tasks as walking on her keyboard, starting her printer by standing on the 
button and relaxing on the mats she was trying to cut. That eventually led to Famous Artists Cats, in which she answers the question – What if famous artists had my cats?
