The Johnny Appleseed Visitor Center is one of the handful of remaining visitors centers in Massachusetts, and is the gateway to North Central Massachusetts and is located on the westbound side of Route 2 in Lancaster, MA. The 2,000 square foot facility includes a gift shop which sells local products and merchandise, information on local attractions and events, and other visitor center amenities such as as rest rooms, vending machines, an ATM machine, and a touchscreen information kiosk available 24/7. Enthusiastic staff and volunteers are on hand to welcome the traveling public to the center year-round, seven days-a-week, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Hours vary on season.
