Is your child interested in joining a rowing team? Did they always wonder what it would be like to be out on the Allegheny River as part of a "Crew"? Did you ever wonder yourself?  Here is a chance to check it out. Our own Elke Cedarholm is a coach for the Pittsburgh Allderdice Rowing Team. She is offering you and your child the chance to join her in the launch on the Allegheny River to watch an Allderdice practice. This is an experience some people may never have in their lifetime. Take the opportunity to know what the "crew" actually do on the water. For your information, rowing has the highest rate of college scholarships over any other sport. Football has a 2% chance of getting a college scholarship, while rowing has a 25% chance for boys and a 50% chance for girls. What better reason to check it out?!
