Join Madison-area cooking instructor Bowen Close for a private, three-hour cooking class for two people. The winning bidder will work with Bowen to put together a lesson based on cuisines, techniques, and other things they might like to learn. Potential cuisine-based classes could include Vietnamese, Spanish, Mexican, and many others. Potential technique-based classes could focus on pies and tarts, or fresh pasta. The class will be fun, hands-on, and completely catered to the winning bidder's level of cooking experience. The ingredients will be local, seasonal, and sustainable whenever possible. All necessary materials will be provided by Bowen.

Bowen Close is a home cook and cooking instructor inspired by the stories behind the food - the people, places, traditions, and experiences that make a meal. She has been teaching cooking classes for almost five years and has taught on the West Coast and in the Midwest and is inspired by the food she has experienced in her extensive travels around the world. She offers public and private classes throughout the Madison area.
