Accompany outdoor writer Gary Engberg on a day trip to locate and count bald eagles. Gary is a member of the Ferry Bluff Eagle Council in Sauk City, Wisconsin, a group dedicated to counting eagles through the winter.
Gary will take up to 3 people on a tour through the area looking for eagles at some of their winter locations. The trip will last 2 to 3 hours visiting known eagle viewing sites around Sauk, Columbia, and Dane counties.
This is a great trip for photographers and folks who would like to see eagles in their natural setting.
Special Instructions
The influx of eagles is totally dependent on the weather. The best times are early morning or late afternoon. Gary will offer 2-3 dates (all Sundays) in January and February of 2016 and will coordinate with the winning bidder to schedule the outing.
