Breakfast and Canoe Trip on Wisconsin's Red River

Item Number: 224
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Join retired environmental science teacher Charlie Frisk on a sourdough pancake and Red River paddling adventure!
This trip features a sourdough pancake breakfast at the put-in prior to the canoe trip on the Red River located just north of Shawano, WI. The Red River has mostly Class I to low Class II rapids. Those wanting a white water adventure can run Class IV Novitiate Falls and Ziemers Rapids, but those can also be portaged around. The Red River is known for exceptional swimming holes and most groups spend more time swimming than canoeing. This trip is ideal for two to six participants, and is a great trip for families ready for an adventure. All canoes and paddles are provided but it is suggested that participants bring their own PFDs (life jackets).
