Former Pali High College counselor is offering a two-hour college advising session for your junior (or one hour now for a sophomore and one hour during junior year).

We will discuss high school course selection, testing strategy and schedule, get started on college search process, and discuss UC, CSU, private college and out of state public college admission process, financial aid and scholarships, personal statements, teacher and counselor recommendations, importance of "demonstrated interest," extracurriculars, etc. I was a college counselor at Palisades High from 1997-2015, completed the UCLA college counseling certificate program, and have provided independent advising services since 2005. My core philosophy is that there is a college for every student, and that finding the "right fit" may take you far beyond the US News & World Report.
