A collection of articles on the weekly Torah readings and Jewish holidays throughout the year by Rabbi David Walk.Rabbi David Walk is Educational Director at Stamford, CTs Congregation Agudath Sholom and teaches at Bi-Cultural Day School. Before coming to teach in Connecticut, Rabbi Walk was a Rebbe and served as Director of Yeshivat Hamivtar in Efrat, Israel. Rabbi Walk was born in Malden, MA, a suburb of Boston. After attending the Malden Public School System, he studied at Yeshiva University where he came under the influence of Rabbi Shlomo Riskin and studied with Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik. He received ordination from Yeshivat Hamivtar and served in the IDF. His career has been dedicated to spreading and promoting Judaism and its values. He has served as a Regional Director in NCSY, and has taught in Atlantic City, Miami, and Riverdale in addition to Stamford and Israel. Rabbi Walk is proud that he has taught elementary school, middle school, high school, post high school Yeshiva, and adult education. He deeply believes that Jewish education is rewarding and fun from eight to eighty and beyond.

You will be notified by e-mail if you are the winning bidder. If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges will apply and will be billed to your account. Local residents may make arrangements for pick-up between November 19, 2015-December 1, 2015.

  2. Unless otherwise noted, the deadline on claiming services will be November 15, 2016. After this date all right and entitlement to the item or service are cancelled.

  3. Items may not be returned or exchanged.

  4. BCDS does not provide kosher certification. The kashrut of all food items is guaranteed only by the company/restaurant/host.

  5. Bi-Cultural Day School does not warrant the quality, value or the safety of any of the items or services offered for purchase at the auction. All items are sold in “as is” condition. Dollar values are estimated and provided by the donor and are not warranted by BCDS.
