Wearing #7, Villa was the first player announced for the New York City Major League Soccer Team. Villa Sanchez has had an illustrious international career playing with such teams as Real Zaragoza, Valencia, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Melbourne City. He is Spain’s all-time top goal scorer as well as the country’s top scorer in the World Cup. Villa was also just named the NYCFC Most Valuable Player award for the 2015 Season.
