2015 Conditions of Sale

You will be notified by e-mail if you are the winning bidder. If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges will apply and will be billed to your account. Local residents may make arrangements for pick-up between November 19, 2015-December 1, 2015. 

1. Your bid on an item is a binding agreement to pay the school for the services/ items offered.


2. Unless otherwise noted, the deadline on claiming services will be November 15, 2016. After this date all right and entitlement to the item or service are cancelled.


3. Items may not be returned or exchanged.


4. BCDS does not provide kosher certification. The kashrut of all food items is guaranteed only by the company/restaurant/host.


5. Bi-Cultural Day School does not warrant the quality, value or the safety of any of the items or services offered for purchase at the auction. All items are sold in “as is” condition. Dollar values are estimated and provided by the donor and are not warranted by BCDS. 

BY BIDDING AND MAKING PAYMENT FOR ANY AUCTION ITEM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GOODS AND/OR SERVICES THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED AND THAT YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF AND ANY FAMILY MEMBERS OR OTHER PARTICIPANTS FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT YOUR USE OF THE ITEM OR SERVICE PURCHASED. YOU FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY BI-CULTURAL DAY SCHOOL AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, CAUSES OF ACTION DAMAGES, JUDGMENTS, COSTS OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES AND OTHER LITIGATION COSTS, WHICH MAY IN ANY WAY ARISE FROM THE FOREGOING USE OF THE MERCHANDISE OR SERVICE PURCHASED AT THE AUCTION.
