London-born and Bronx-raised, Lucy Woodward is a singer-songwriter who effortlessly crosses genres, blending elements of blues, vintage jazz, swing and Latin rhythms into songs that have earned her numerous awards and critical acclaim. In her live performances she brings a “sultry intensity” and a “scorching sensuality” to the stage, leading one reviewer to describe a Lucy Woodward show as a “jawdropping listening experience.”
For her return to The Smith Center's intimate, 240-seat Cabaret Jazz club, she will be premiering material from her new album, out Summer 2016 on GroundUP/Universal.
