One evening of stargazing with LASA's resident astronomy teacher Alison Earnhart. The session can be one-on-one, with a small group, or for a larger event like a birthday or graduation party. Ms. Earnhart will coordinate with you to schedule the date, time, and location of your journey through the heavens at your convenience. Learn the names of major stars, map the constellations and learn navigation skills, gaze at the Moon, planets, and nearby nebulae and star clusters through celestial binoculars, and make connections to ancient Greek myths and stories throughout historical and pop culture. At your request, Ms. Earnhart can also come prepared to give a talk or demonstration on any astronomical topic of your choosing.
