Description
A Yoga and Meditation class: The gift of relaxation, self-compassion, and peace with Dr. Kat Scherer, Saturday February 13, 10:30-11:30 am. (North Austin Area)
This one hour class will include mild yoga, gentle breathing exercises (pranayama), guided imagery, and restful svasana (yoga nap) to help nurture the mind and body. Join us for an hour of rest and rejuvenation.
Meditation has been found to help calm the nervous system, improve concentration, build emotional resilience, reduce negative thinking, and boost the immune system.
Dr Kat Scherer is a Psychologist and Yoga Teacher with advanced training in yoga meditation and a LASA parent.
*Please wear comfortable clothes for movement, bring a yoga or exercise mat (if
possible), and blanket (or cushion) for seated meditation. No past yoga experience is necessary.

Participants who buy into this class will be sent an email with specifics about location (will be in the north Austin area) that will be used as their ticket.
