SFBC parent Ruth Kahn will provide three 30-minute violin lessons in Marin County. 

Ruth Ellen Kahn, violinist/violist, is a graduate of The Juilliard School and currently teaches viola at the University of California at Berkeley.  She played with the New York City Ballet Orchestra for 18 years, as well as many other ensembles. As a winner of the Artists International Competition, her chamber ensemble received a debut recital in Carnegie Hall.  She is the co-concert master of the Russian Chamber Orchestra and performs regularly with San Francisco Opera Orchestra.  She is also the Artistic Director of Musica Marin.
