Join Linda Ferber, noted 19th-century art historian and Senior Art Historian & Museum Director Emerita of the New-York Historical Society, and Dorsky Museum Director Sara Pasti for a private tour for up to ten of The Dorsky’s exhibition Jervis McEntee: Painter-Poet of the Hudson River School, a first-ever museum retrospective of this Hudson River School artist. The exhibition includes works that cover the sweep of McEntee’s career from his early descriptive local landscape paintings of the 1850s to his nearly impressionist works of the 1880s.
