Description
Two Complimentary Tickets to the Rubin Museum's 2015 Karma Events: Cause, Effect and the Illusion of Fate
The ancient concept of “karma” has been interpreted by many cultures around the world. In some, karma is synonymous with destiny. In Buddhism, karma is not interpreted as fate but as a way of overcoming suffering in which we play an active part. This fall the Rubin will look at the repercussions of our actions, with a special focus on global climate change. As the world’s nations gather in Paris for the climate change convocation, personalities from many walks of life will step on stage at the Rubin to share their views on this topic and other implications of karma and fate.
Reservations required based on availability. Non-transferable. Available through December 2015.
