Explore the unique history and culture of the Wallkill Valley during The Wallkill Valley Land Trust’s annual sell-out Historic House Tour and reception on Saturday June 4, 2016. Founded in 1987, the Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the unique rural character of Southern Ulster County. You’ll visit private homes, churches, and other unique parcels in the Town of Lloyd that are part of the region’s history. Some offer spectacular views of the Hudson River and Shawangunk Ridge. Through the tour’s carefully-researched site handbook, you’ll learn more about the region than you’ll find in any history book! End the tour with a reception and wine tasting at one of the area’s local farms.
