This book by Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times writer Thomas L Friedman was published in 2005.  You have probably heard about this book.  It describes the critical juncture when technology and events collided to put India and China in the global supply chains of many companies.  This created an explosion of wealth in the middle classes of these two giants, giving them an increased stake in the success of globalization.
