Description
Full page DuPont advertisement from the August 26, 1922 issue of The Literary Digest. The page is black and white print, no color. The page visibile is 8 inches wide and 11.5 inches tall. There is a white mat with black edge, so it is very tastefully done.
"His visions have crowded the highways of commerce" is the headline of the advertisement which touts the benefits of the Chemical Engineer. The text touts the virtues of the ability of this engineer. The pronoun used is always "he". Times have changed, but this provides a window into our past and how far DuPont has moved on many fronts.
Special Instructions
The black frame with gold trim has a damaged area on the bottom edge the size of a quarter. The clear plastic cover over the advertisement and mat has some scratches. Could be displayed as is, but it would benefit from a new glass and frame. Overall framed size is 18 inches tall by 15 inches wide.
