About the Artist:

Ellie Schwartz is a current senior at Cab Calloway School of the Arts. She has been a Visual Arts major for seven years, and has always had a passion for drawing and animals. She has worked with the organizations Art for Animals and Traveling Animal Doctors. These organization are non-profit organizations with a mission to provide health care and to promote animals around the world. With these organizations she has donated original pieces of work, which are made into prints and sold and all profits go to the organizations to help animals. Most recently, she donated over 120 hours of her time to paint a mural at the new Cooke Elementary School’s Music Room, the new elementary school in Red Clay. Ellie plans on attending an Art and Design College starting the Fall of 2016.
