The belay lesson teaches you to manage the ropes for the climber on the taller walls.  A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and a one day pass.  At the end of the class, students will receive a belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day.  To earn a permanent belay card, each person will need to come back on a separate day and take the belay test.
