Turn off the TV and take back your imagination at a live theater show! The Bay Area Children's Theater introduces children to the joy of live theatre as audience members at its main stage productions in Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco and San Ramon. Seeing stories onstage inspires children to explore their own creativity, encourages them to think analytically, fosters empathy, and broadens their understanding of the world. Recent stage productions include: The Day the Crayons Quit; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, TYA; Lemony Snicket's The Lump of Coal; and Bad Kitty on Stage.
