Description

Microneedling is a popular procedure that works to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin. It's effective in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, surgical and acne scars. Fractional microneedling or collagen induction therapy (CIT) uses needles to pierce the skin in a controlled and precise pattern resulting in the release of growth factors and the induction of collagen. As we get older, the production of the skin’s collagen gets slower. This causes the skin to look "tired." Microneedling creates a more youthful skin appearance because it stimulates the production of new collagen. Microneedling can be used to minimize wrinkles and enlarged pores as well as to improve the appearance of scars in all skin types.
