BuxieJo Bags...

.....was born from a love affair that started after taking classes on how to work with leather. I finally mustered the courage to make my first bag after about a year of ‘thinking’ about it. My first bag was so well received that it sold before it was even finished. That got the wheels in my brain turning over how I could turn my new found love into a business.

You will find artful design in each bag I make. They are all crafted using old-world techniques. I invested in a machine called a hand-stitcher.  It is typically used for saddle and shoe making. Each stitch is carefully placed by me to ensure the highest quality in your new bag. They are built to stand the test of time!

I scour many different outlets to find the most unique colors, textures and different treatments for the leather I use. This ensures exclusivity to your purchase. Thus creating a small-run on everything you see.
