With a following that is practically cult-like, Rombauer Chardonnay is a wine that flies out the door at hundreds of restaurants nationwide. Wine Spectator scored the 2013 vintage 93 points with the 2014 rating pending.
Wine Spectator's 2013 notes: "This is a creamy-textured, charming style that's easy to drink yet is deceptively complex and layered, with a mix of vanilla-scented oak and vibrant peach, nectarine, honeydue and apricot flavors. Long on the finish. This is a wine that is incredibly consistent vintage after vintage."
