Description

This auction is for a chair that was painted at the Purple Hippo Art Studio by 6 pediatric cancer patients on 2/28/2016.

This chair can be used in the garden or in your child's room or nursery.

Six pediatric cancer patients had fun painting pottery at the Purple Hippo Art Studio in the Kuniansky Family Center within the Marcus Jewish Community Center on February 28.

Less than four percent of federal funding for cancer research is allocated to pediatric cancer. Yet 430 Georgia children will be diagnosed with cancer this year. The goal of Care Affair 2016 is to raise $110,000 for Atlanta-based non-profit CURE Childhood Cancer, dedicated to conquering pediatric cancer through funding research for better and targeted treatments. Because of the hardships placed on families of cancer patients, CURE also provides support through patient and family services.
