With all the distractions of summer, Academic Chess is proud to announce the 12th Annual Summer Camp in the 'Sanctuary'...The Perfect Chess Venue. The camp is an excellent opportunity for children to have fun while stimulating both their minds and imaginations.

Academic Chess was founded in 1994 and has been teaching chess to elementary students ever since. Academic Chess has fostered a passion for chess in tens of thousands of students, including the youngest National Master in U.S. history.

We are devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand.  This wonderful learning experience not only teaches children to play chess, but also prepares them for life by enhancing their thought process.  Children participating in our program: Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills; Have better concentration and mental discipline; Gain confidence and have lots of FUN!!!
