Have you ever felt jealous of the feeling those people who can speak arrogantly about wine and identify what the reasons are that a particular bottle of Whackbat Cellars Cabernet or Merlot is worth eighty-five dollars must get from having that type of educated palate, but you would on the whole rather have a beer or two?

 

Well, as they say, why can't we have both?  This item is an evening of craft beer tasting and substantial snacks arranged by West Portal Parent and self-proclaimed craft beer "enthusiast" Tony Moir, Cathy Halligan and Zoon Nguyen 
for yourself and your West Portal friends to taste some very high end brews and get some information about what makes the typical craft brew worth investigating.  We will be tasting a flight of several beers to show the differences between styles and to illustrate that there is a wide world of brews out there to delight every taste.
