Color Me Spring Day

Come spend a colorful spring day with Mr. Yee as you explore your wild and creative side at Color Me Mine! What is Color Me Mine you may be wondering? Color Me Mine is a pottery painting place for both kids and adults to enjoy. The process is quite simple: First, you pick the pottery piece, including animal figurines, picture frames, cups, bowls, and plates. Then, you paint it. Next, the place will fire up your piece. Finally, you get to take home your painted pottery masterpiece and keep/use/cherish it forever!

 

After a long day of displaying our artistic brilliance, I’m sure we will all be hungry. Since we’re already at the Westlake Shopping Center, we will also have lunch at a restaurant of your choice (or at least the group consensus choice)! After lunch, if anyone has a sweet spot in their tummy, we can stop by Baskin-Robbins for ice cream. The date of this event will be 
Saturday, April 23, 2016. We will meet sometime during the morning, but the exact time will be determined once Mr. Yee plans the details with the auction winners. Mr. Yee is visualizing this event to be around 2-2.5 hours long (one hour each for Color Me Mine and lunch, and maybe thirty minutes for ice cream).

 

There will be a maximum of four auction winners with a bid of $50 each, or $85 for two if you would like to bring a sibling! Remember, with your $50 you will have pottery painting, lunch, and ice cream with Mr. Yee. Better yet, all proceeds will go towards your school, West Portal Elementary! I hope to see your colorful selves there! And who knows, maybe even Mr. Yee’s special friend, Miss Lee, may make an appearance :)
