Catcher Mike Piazza started with the MLB in 1992 and played for 16 seasons, most notably for the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also had brief stints with the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Oakland Athletics. Piazza is regarded as one of the best offensive catchers in baseball history. In 2013, the Mets inducted Piazza into their hall of fame, and in 2016 he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
