Description
An evening of a lifetime! A five-course dinner will be specially created by Scarpetta's Chef for three couples. Your hosts for the evening are current Chair and Past President of the Wine & Food Society, New York, Gregory Hurst, and his wife Joyce, along with Fontainebleau President and COO Philip Goldfarb. Chef will prepare five signature courses accompanied by wines one could hope to enjoy once in a lifetime. The following wines were carefully selected from the cellar of Gregory Hurst: the wine Thomas Jefferson introduced to America, the First Growth Bordeaux, 1999 Chateau Haut Brion; the most famous and sought-after Grand Cru Burgundy, 2008 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux; the wonderfully elegant Grand Cru White Burgundy, 2008 Maison Bouchard Père & Fils Chevalier-Montrachet; the sublimely silky and beautifully textured 1998 HENRIOT Brut Champagne Cuvée des Enchanteleurs; the pure and classic 2007 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny, and the much sought-after, renowned 2001 vintage of Premier Cru Classé ("First Growth") Sauternes, Château Suduiraut. These wines will be perfectly paired with each course to enhance your world-class dining experience. The value of the wines alone--if you could find them--is over $3000.
