Saint James: St. Armel Military-Style Wool Coat (Size 44/12 US)

Item Number: 514
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
The St-Armel military-style wool blend coat, generously donated by Pamela Barkley at Foxhall Square, is a great coat for nautical fashionistas.
Double-breasted with “aged silver” styled buttons, it features contrasted material for the edges of the collar, sleeves, and pockets with the neck inside in striped jersey. It is cut longer than a classic pea coat, so it's perfect for cooler weather.
The Saint James Company has been established in Lower Normandy, in the commune of Saint-James, close to Mont Saint-Michel, since 1889. Its fame is based upon a cult item of clothing "the genuine pure new knitted woolen Breton seaman's sweater", originally intended for deep sea fishermen, then adopted by known seafarers, and amateur yachtsmen.
Its pure wool, pure cotton, "seashore" lines attract a large clientele on the coast, but also in the major cities of France, and equally throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, and Japan.
SAINT JAMES Boutiques are to be found in Paris, Nice, Le Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Strasbourg, Lyon, Granville, Biarritz, New-York, Tokyo, Osaka...AND at Foxhall Square!
