You and a friend can enjoy learning to knit with four hours of instruction over two sessions at Uncommon Threads in Los Altos. Learn the fundamentals of knitting, and gain the experience and confidence you’ll need to successfully tackle your first knitting project. Auction item includes supplies for the class - bamboo needles and yarn - which you get to keep!

In addition to our wide selection of knitting and crochet books, patterns, and magazines, we carry knitting needles by Addi, Lantern Moon, Kollage, Prym and KA; knitting tools by Susan Bates and Clover; project bags and tool cases from Della Q, Lantern Moon, Walker, Namaste and Knowknits; plus a gorgeous collection of buttons.

We offer knitting, crochet and weaving classes for beginner through advanced students and a friendly, knowledgeable staff to assist you with your projects. We are centrally located in downtown Los Altos, California since 1984.

You can choose a class in April, May, October or November 2016. Class is two Wednesday nights in the same calendar month, from 7-9 PM. Reservations required. Ages 12 and up. Expires December 2016.
