Oasis Diner

You'll love everything about the Oasis Diner at 405 West Main Street, in Plainfield, IN--a perfect spot to get a bite before or after a shopping spree at nearby Metropolis.  From the polished chrome facade, vintage yellow sign, and giant rooftop coffee cup, the diner reminds you of an era gone by. It was constructed in 1954 and carefully restored to bring this culinary landmark back to its original glory.

The Oasis kitchen makes everything from scratch, from hand-breaded pork loin sandwiches to the fruit pies and beignets.  In addition to biscuits, build-your-own omelets, and corned beef sandwiches, the chefs are happy to whip up any off-the-menu request so long as they have the ingredients on hand.
