We offer two Family Camps – your family can choose from Memorial Day Weekend Family Camp (May 27-30, 2016) or Fall Foliage Family Camp (October 7-10, 2016). Both camps run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. A weekend at Family Camp is a relaxing break from everyday life, and allows families a chance to enjoy each other in the outdoors. 

The activities vary depending on the time of year you visit us, but all our Family Camp programs are designed for participation at your own pace and choosing. This means most activities are open for several blocks of time, and families can come and go as they please. Some families try a little bit of everything while they are here, and others prefer to spend the weekend doing as little as possible! Memorial Day Weekend is the perfect time for outdoor activities, like archery and boating – or you can try to tackle the Alpine Tower at Chimney Corners Camp. Fall Foliage Family Camp, held during Columbus Day Weekend, has traditional camp activities plus fall favorites like pumpkin carving and apple cider pressing.

Memorial Day Family Camp is held at Chimney Corners Camp, with housing in winterized lodges. Families will be assigned a bedroom in a lodge, and share a bathroom with the other families in that lodge. Fall Foliage Family Camp is held at Camp Becket, with housing in our summer camp cabins – it’s a little more rustic, but we think that just adds to the “camp” experience.
