Have you always dreamed of becoming a poet?
Would you love to bind and publish your very own HARDCOVER book of poems?
In this poetry workshop, you will work with Ambrose teachers, Ms. Machado, Mrs. Masi and Mrs. McCoy, and Andrew Green from Potato Hill Poetry. You will learn how to use ideas from your life and the world around you to write poetry. Mr. Green’s poems and essays have been featured in the English Journal, New England Review, The New York Times, Vermont Life Magazine, and Yankee Magazine, learn more at www.potatohill.com.
Each writer will have the opportunity to work alongside Ms. Machado to design and create their own hardcover book to showcase their poems. Our workshop will conclude with a poetry share and celebration.
Workshop will be planned on a Saturday TBD from 9-1
Special Instructions
This item is being sold as a single spot for one student to particpate in the workshop, which will take place on a Saturday from 9:00-1:00 on a date to be determined. The workshop is open to 4th and 5th graders, and there will be a maxiumum of 28 students in the workshop (14 4th graders and 14 5th graders).
