The deep love mothers and daughters feel for each other can face challenges during the Pre-Teen and Teen years. Sil and Eliza Reynolds' Mother-Daughter workshops help girls and their mothers navigate this tricky time lovingly and respectfully.

Keeping Your Bond Strong Through the Pre-Teen Years (Ages 10-12)

Dates: May 13, 2016 - May 15, 2015 or October 14, 2016 – October 16, 2016

Sil Reynolds and her 25 year-old daughter, Eliza Reynolds, lead mothers and their 10-to-12-year-old daughters in a weekend of initiation, communication, and celebration.

We take the time to nourish our relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely. Through ritual, storytelling, art, and exercises in communication, we gain tools that build bridges and keep those bridges strong through the teen years. Mothers have time with Sil to share the joys and challenges of mothering a preteen, including working on strategies for keeping the bond strong and finding the balance of holding on and letting go. Daughters have time with Eliza, and her team of teen assistants, to express their feelings and share their vision-not only as daughters, but also as emerging teens and young women. With participants from around the country, the group comes together to create a wonderfully supportive community. Throughout the weekend, mothers and daughters learn new ways of being together in mutual respect and love-and have fun!

Join a vibrant community of mothers and daughters where you can slow down, nourish your relationship, and have some fun! In a soulful environment, mothers and their 13-to-15-year-old daughters learn to cultivate authentic expression and deeper trust for a healthier, more loving bond. Guided by Sil Reynolds and her 25 year-old daughter Eliza Reynolds, discover how to reinforce your already strong relationship, or learn how to reconnect if it's been hard to find common ground lately. By engaging in creative and fun techniques designed to help mothers and daughters communicate well, you can learn to create more ease and joy through the teen years. Eliza assures daughters, "No one at your school will ever have to know you attended and you get to hang out with other cool girls from around the country. Plus, having a good relationship with your mom really can make your teenage years so much easier!"
