Raine Bedsole was born in Mobile, Alabama and spent much of her life on a farm. Raine's earliest experiences inspired a lifelong interest in nature's forms and textures and continued to influence themes in her art. She graduated with a bachelor of fine art from Auburn University and a master's of fine art from the San Franscico Institute. Raine settled in New Orleans twenty years ago.
