This Charity Tournament, in the format of a "Four-Person Scramble", is hosted by The Kiwanis Club of Allen, a local chapter of Kiwanis International, dedicated to "Changing the World One Child & One Community at a Time." 

The event includes a dinner reception, raffle prizes, golf ball drop and poker challenge.  Dinner will be served immediately following the tournament. 

This tournament is named after Allen's own, Mr. Ron C. Gentry (1944 - 2003). Mr. Gentry joined the Allen Volunteer Fire Department in 1968. He was employed by Allen from 1970 - 1975 to handle routine fire department maintenance, with chores from mowing the lawn to taking care of trucks. He was hired and served as part-time Fire Chief from 1975-1985. In 1985 he became Allen's first full time Fire Chief and continued in that position until 2003. During Ron's tenure, Fire Stations #1 and #2 were built and the department grew to an all paid department. Mr. Genntry was an active and inspiring member of the Allen Kiwanis Club form 1995-2003.
